Swedish post-rock duo Oh Hiroshima return with their latest album And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, arriving 5th June via Pelagic Records. Once again emerging from Scandinavia’s rich atmospheric landscape, the record sharpens their signature balance of restraint and release, where shimmering guitars and slow-building intensity rise into cathartic peaks. Rooted in existential reflection and modern disillusionment, And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter navigates the space between despair and meaning with a quiet defiance. Alongside the announcement, the band unveil first single ‘Broken Sunlight’, offering an initial glimpse into the album’s immersive, emotionally resonant world.

Today, Norwegian progressive trailblazers Enslaved are honoured to reveal their latest creation - two unique recordings of sea shanties, made in collaboration with the Storm Weather Shanty Choir, who hail from Bergen, Norway's great sailing ship the Statsraad Lehmkuhl.The shanties are titled 'Fire Marengo' and 'Anna Lovinda'. 'Fire Marengo' is a traditional shanty, whilst 'Anna Lovinda' was written by the late sailor and Norwegian cultural figure Erik Bye.

August Burns Red — Jake Luhrs (vocals); JB Brubaker (guitar); Brent Rambler (guitar); Dustin Davidson (bass); and Matt Grenier (drums) — need no introduction. British metal powerhouse SYLOSIS are preparing to take their monumentally heavy, riff-fuelled live show across the Northern Hemisphere.Next week, the band will be launching head-first into a collosal month-long trek across North America alongside Bleed From Within, Great American Ghost and Life Cycles.To set the stage, SYLOSIS have released a break-neck live video for their track 'All Glory, No Valour', filmed during their career-defining performance last month at The Forum, London, a highlight of their biggest headline tour to-date.
