Fresh off the critical acclaim of Shadow WorkDESPISED ICON maintained their unstoppable momentum this past weekend, securing a Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year and further solidifying their status as pioneers of the Canadian scene.

Fresh off the massive Juno victory, DESPISED ICON are bringing the chaos back home for two festival dates. The Montreal titans will dominate the stage at Vans Warped Tour, followed by an appearance at the Envol et Macadam Festival in Quebec City. Additional dates will be announced shortly!

Shadow Work was produced by the band’s own Alex Erian and Eric Jarrin, while Christian Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY, SHADOW OF INTENT, SIGNS OF THE SWARM) handled mixing and mastering. The album marks a significant chapter for a band whose core lineup has remained largely unchanged since its inception. It’s a deeply introspective record that reflects both personal growth and the turbulence of the world around us. The artwork for the album was created by Eliran Kantor (HATEBREED, THY ART IS MURDER, CAVALERA).
