Kill the Silence have done it again and released an absolute banger. Originating from Leeds and established in 2018 the band have gone from strength to strength and from what we've seen so far are planning a major come back for 2026 with a new EP on the horizon and currently two tracks released since December 2025. Wherever they’ve been hiding during their short hiatus, these new releases prove the wait was absolutely worth it.

Released on 13 February 2026, the single is already live on all streaming platforms, accompanied by an official video released alongside.

Right from the first second, the track bursts in with a hooky riff that lodges itself in your head for the rest of the day—if not the entire week—before slamming into a hard‑hitting display of technical drum precision. Vocally, the track showcases the full spectrum of their abilities, shifting effortlessly from clean melodies to harsh and cutting vocals.

I can't help but feel the track channels a nod to the likes of bands such as Dillinger Escape Plan while still staying firmly rooted in its old‑school metalcore origins. Blending genres with ease, the track brings a fusion that can brings a solid appeal to a wide and varied audience. It’s the kind of track where everyone can find a moment that hits their taste be this old metalcore, mathcore even maybe a hint of heavier leaning towards deathcore (albeit you couldn't really compare this to a deathcore track, don't get me wrong) but the different hybrids and inclusion of elements of these shines through.

With its standout, high‑calibre production, this track raises the bar yet again for what Kill the Silence bring to the table.

This video marks the second follow‑up single to ‘Hide & Seek,’ which dropped just over two months ago, and is featured on the forthcoming EP 'Resolve'. All I have to say is what a comeback. Every track to date feels like a teaser—just the beginning of something much bigger on the way. The track has received positive support from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing, marking a triumphant return.

Vocalist Jason Walsh says: “We took our time with this EP and made sure it really represents where we’re at as a band. It feels like the most honest thing we’ve released so far.

Overall, this track is straight‑up fire. It delivers everything you’d expect—and then some—from a band this established and that have been pushing out music since 2018, from the top‑tier production to the sheer depth and quality of the songwriting. It's a track that genuinely hits and that I honestly believe if it falls on the right listeners ears will do extremely well.

If these two tracks are any indication of what’s ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be an absolutely killer year for Kill The Silence—and I’m genuinely excited to see how far they push things next. The EP 'Resolve' is set for release on Friday 17th April 2026. Go ahead and mark this one down now. If the build‑up is anything to go by, this release is going to hit hard.
