LAMB OF GOD have released “Parasocial Christ”, a relentless three-minute assault that once again pairs the Richmond metal titans with longtime producer Josh Wilbur. The standalone single follows “Sepsis,” which has dominated the U.S. metal charts for the past two weeks.

The song arrives alongside a stark, desaturated video directed by Jon Vulpine, whose unsettling visual style mirrors the track’s intensity as it captures a man’s descent into madness.
“The Information Age has birthed the attention economy, an industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars anchored in keeping eyeballs firmly glued to screens, thus generating ad revenue", vocalist Randy Blythe shares about the themes behind the track. "Every second spent clicking and scrolling through the trivial and/or sordid details of other people’s lives, people that you will most likely never meet - celebrities, politicians, influencers - is another dollar in some already obscenely wealthy tech bro’s wallet. You are a product, and you are being sold in a marketplace you have no share in. The irony of you reading this via some social media platform or music news aggregator site is not lost on me; nevertheless I hope this song might make you consider who and what you give your attention to. Fuck the clickbait, put down the phone and go live your life - it’s waiting for you out in what’s left of the real world.”
The arrival of “Parasocial Christ” coincides with the on-sale for LAMB OF GOD’s Spring 2026 North American tour, featuring support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Tickets and VIP packages are available now at lamb-of-god.com/tour.
“We are beyond thrilled to announce the loudest, proudest, floor shakin’-est, earth quakin’-est, ear-splittin’-est, mosh pittin’-est, undiluted, undisputed HEAVIEST tour of the whole damn year,” guitarist Mark Morton said earlier this week as the band announced the trek. “Is this the largest collection of RIFFS ever assembled under one roof? It would seem so. Lamb of God, Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Do not miss this shit.”
LAMB OF GOD will also be returning for their annual Headbangers Boat cruise. The 2026 edition features the GRAMMY® Award-nominated band with an assortment of special guests, including Zakk Sabbath, The Dillinger Escape Plan, In Flames, GWAR, The Haunted, D.R.I., 200 Stab Wounds, X-Cops, Mark Morton, and more to be announced soon. Second Round Presale Signups will conclude Nov. 23 at 11:59 pm EST. Public on-sales begin Nov. 25 at 2:00 pm EST, exclusively at headbangersboat.com.
If a transatlantic trip is pushing the boat out too far, but you still want to witness the chaos of a live LAMB OF GOD performance, then you can feast your eyes upon the carnage a bit closer to home as the quintet headline the Friday of Bloodstock Open Air Festival on 7th August 2026.
