FROM THE LAND Unveils “I’m Your Salvation” Video

The video for "I'm Your Salvation" complements the track's traditional lyrical inspiration. Dark country often connects closely with religious themes, and the song’s lyrics are drawn directly from the 35th Psalm of the Bible.

From The Land states: "The biblical themes naturally align with the nature of this musical genre, giving the music deep meaning. The 35th Psalm, which is the basis for 'I’m Your Salvation', is a prayer for the restoration of justice and salvation from human malice, centred on hope in God, who is the source of life and light."

The video coincides with the release of their debut full-length album, “Stolen Season pt. I”, which is out now digitally via 7 Mater, while the physical version has been delayed until February.

The band previously released videos and singles for "Run On", “Would You Know”, “F.K.” and “Psalm 2”. 

From The Land is the brainchild of Anatoly Pakhalenko, frontman of the dark folk band Nytt Land. Conceived in 2025, the project serves as an alter ego for Pakhalenko’s creative exploration and experimentation within dark country and blues genres. The band's aesthetic is described as a "black and white world tired of all this s**t that's going on around and gradually sinking into an endless sleep."

"Stolen Season pt. I" was composed by Anatoly Pakhalenko and Aleksandr Rosliakov. The album was recorded at Nytt Land Studio between January and May 2025, with Anatoly Pakhalenko serving as recording and mixing engineer, and producer. 

From The Land draws inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and David Lynch.
