Male backed metal band (see what I did there…),Cage Fight dropped a new track this week of which I feel I couldn’t just walk by. Cage Fights newest track ‘Pig’ brings a raw, heavy hitting  force to be reckoned with that calls out online harassment—especially the sending of unsolicited explicit messages. Unsolicited explicit imagery and just down right weird messages is something that a lot of people online can relate to and unfortunately have been subjected to at least once whilst existing on the internet. I know I’ve had my fair few shares, including a guy sending me a beautiful image once of what I can only describe as a carrot in the rear… I’ll save you all the visual images by keeping that firmly hidden in the depths of my inbox. I could not applaud Cage Fight more than I currently am at bringing awareness to these situations. I mean sure you can argue “Oh it’s the internet, trolls are rife - just ‘get used to it’ or leave the internet” but it’s not really the case is it? No-one regardless of gender should have to be subjected to see or read things that they simply do not want to. It’s quite frankly gross.

As for the track, I can not fault it. It brings to the table the standard hard hitting heavy riffs you’d expect from Cage Fight alongside showcasing the sheer vocal talent Rachel Aspe lays out on the table. With raw lyrics on this track such as “To every guy that sent me a dick / I hope it drops off, and you choke on it.” It’s something that is more than just a generic lyric. It’s something that speaks volume of the negative experiences people are subjected to on a regular basis. These lyrics force the listener to stare into the dark void of what people endure daily. I salut you for this - so so much. I don’t even think I can put into words how much I am loving this and this release both from a musical perspective and also from one of which is getting the word out there that online harassment is not right, it’s not fair and should not be happening.

"Pig" was released on the 16th October 2025 under Spinefarm Music Group.

Pig” is a middle finger to the weirdos and creeps who hide behind their monitors living in their grandma's basement. It’s a statement that’s to behold. It’s bold, unapologetic and spoken from the heart.

The official video for "Pig" can be found on the official Cage Fight Youtube channel.
