From the start of the night, Head of Steam was packed to the rafters in anticipation for the debut of Manørs! On the back of 2 singles, they had sold out their debut show! To Nowhere took to the stage to kick the night off, bringing a sound that reminded me of brilliant alt-rock bands like Breaking Benjamin & Bring Me the Horizon.

With solid groove and high energy, they wasted no time getting the crowd pumped up. With catchy choruses and amazing harmonies between the vocalist and bassist's backing vocals, they captivated the crowd along with brilliant back and forth work between the guitarists! It was my first time seeing To Nowhere and I'll definitely be on the lookout to see them again. With the hype building and the tone set, Manørs took to the stage, a gleaming white light and the nostalgic sound of the PS1 load-up screen filled the room which was a happy surprise.

With the hype building and the tone set, Manørs took to the stage, a gleaming white light and the nostalgic sound of the PS1 load-up screen filled the room which was a happy surprise. From the second their first note hit, Manørs were on a mission to prove that they're a force to be reckoned with! Every member of the band was locked in and on time with every step. Their impressive stage show was complemented by a synchronised light show which did an amazing job helping to set the tone of each moment and song. Ellen had the crowd in the palm of her hand as they followed her every command from mosh pits and jumping around to sombre phone torches.

Manørs have an amazing range when it comes to their sound, from hard-hitting riffs and breakdowns to rock ballads. The band doesn't fit themselves inside one box and with topics from relationships and mental health, their songs seem to be written about things that are important to themselves, which I love. I'm very impressed with their debut and Manørs are definitely a band that is set to blow up in an amazing way.

All in all, I'm so glad I got to watch both of these bands and would like to put my appreciation out to Dario and Manørs for having me along!
