Ingested are a band that have gone from strength to strength, taking both the UK and America by storm possibly even heading for world domination at this point with how rapidly they are excelling at this moment in time. They are definitely a band to keep your eye on.
As of 2025, Ingested’s current lineup reflects a major shift following the departure of longtime vocalist Jason Evans. Ingested’s present lineup features Josh Davies (Vocals), Sean Hynes (Guitar), Andrew Virrueta(Guitar), Thomas O’Malley (Bass), and Lyn Jeffs (Drums). Although they have gone through an almost full member re haul they have retained their core roots in deathcore and if I may pass the comment; elevated their music and sound further than anyone could have possibly imagined and it just gets progressively stronger.
Released via Metal Blade Records the track is a stand alone release, the music video was released on the 23rd October 2025.
The accompanying video reinforces the track’s themes with visceral performance imagery alongside a cheeky hint of decay and distortion peeping through throughout. This track isn't here to give you a loving embrace it's here to slap ya nan full throttle in the throat whilst round house kicking the little yappy dog two doors down that's not stopped barking for the last week. (Disclaimer; this is only a comparison, I do hope that no-one is wanting to round house kick yappy dogs or furthermore wanting to slap your nan in the throat, both of these would not be wise!). It's not just heavy it's a steel boot cap kick to the nads. It's a solid listen and a track with some serious weight to it holding attention from start to finish. I applaud this release, bravo!
